Rodney Dodig

My niece Sarah and her husband Edward Smiley and their kids (Katie and Mason) are all doing great. Katie graduated from preschool this spring and has started real school in the fall and is playing soccer. My niece Amy and her husband David Kirkpatrick and their boys Grant and Ryan are all well. The boys are starting sports now and are playing soccer. They have discovered that Grant will need hearing aids as he is unable to pick up sounds in certain auditory ranges. My Sister Rita and hubby George are both well. Their house suffered some damage from the storms this spring. Rita is still visiting the grandkids alot and keeping an eye on my place for me also. Aunt Vinida and Uncle Charles are healthy from what I hear. Cousin Carl Hallowman was in town this year. He looks healthy, he stopped in to visit his Mom and chatted with Rita, Danny and Debbie while he was here.  Aunt Helen is well and still having her reunions in the summer. My Aunt Pat is still going strong and helps friends and family a lot. Aunt Doris is having some health problems and is seeing a Dr in St. Louis but her husband John is doing OK. Cousin Rebecca had a minor stroke last year but is fully recovered. I guess Aunt Marion and Chester are OK health wise, I haven’t heard differently. Uncle Donald is doing OK, I have received no news about Laurie and Cathy. I hope they are doing well. Janet and Dorene are still living life well in California. Still going to Angel’s games and enjoying their dog, Lucy Mae. I didn’t hear from Cousin Judy, John and family this past year. Hope all is going well with them. Cousin Chuck and family are fine per my sister. Still no word on our Cousin Mary Dodig. I hope she is happy and well. Cousin Debbie Chapman and husband Danny are OK. Debbie had some surgery done on her eye. Their daughter Ashley married this year. Cousin Danny and wife Diane are doing well as are the kids. Oscar Lee is also doing fine. Ted and Mary LeMay are doing fine. Some day I have to make it to the Dakotas for a visit to all the LeMays. Don and Sherry LeMay are doing well. All the kids are out of the house now and married. I hope they aren’t suffering from empty nest syndrome. Sherry (LeMay) and Kieth Keator are doing well.  I haven’t heard anything about Sandy in awhile so I assume she is still working OB at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. I received more cards from family this past year and that was very nice. Please keep it up. I will try to keep this section as current as possible so if you have news (good or bad) that you want to share with the family, please E-mail me or Rita and I will post it on my web site. Send more photos also and I will post your pictures in the family section. There will be a new one each year.
